Job Information/Description:

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Arizona (UArizona) invites applicants for a fiscal (12-month) position as a tenure-eligible or tenured Associate or Full Professor in epidemiology. While expertise in all areas of epidemiology will be considered, we are especially interested in candidates focusing on cancer or chronic disease epidemiology.
We are seeking candidates with a demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to original, creative, and multidisciplinary research, and whose research complements current areas of strengths in the department, college, and university. The successful candidate is expected to develop and/or teach the equivalent of 2-3 courses per year, including graduate-level and undergraduate courses, mentor graduate students, and contribute to the research and service missions of the college.
Exciting opportunities for collaboration exist with faculty and federally funded centers covering a wide range of disciplines across the UArizona. Centers include: The UArizona Cancer Center, the Arizona Center on Aging the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center the Sarver Heart Center, as well as many others at and the UArizona Health Sciences.
