ASPO is excited to once again support community scientist and community and patient advocate attendance at the 50th ASPO Annual Meeting by providing travel awards for those wishing to attend the ASPO Annual Meeting, April 12-14, 2026 in Denver!
ASPO will grant up to seven travel awards, no more than one per organization, to support community scientist and patient advocate attendance at the 50th Annual Meeting. Awardees will receive complimentary registration to the 50th ASPO Annual Meeting, April 12-14 in Denver, and up to $1,500 reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses. Receipts are required and must be submitted after the meeting.
Nominations will be reviewed and scored based on set eligibility criteria, including:
- Active participation in cancer, health and/or advocacy organizations;
- Involved in and commitment to focused cancer prevention and control activities; and
- Commitment and plans to promote cancer prevention and control activities in their community.
Cancer centers may nominate a community organization, and community organizations may self-nominate.
Nomination Deadline: November 9, 2025
Awardees will be notified in December 2025.
