Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, Associate Director for Community Outreach and Engagement

Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC) seeks accomplished leaders for Community Outreach and Engagement in two of their geographies:

•The Midwest based in Rochester, MN: The Associate Director of Community Outreach and Engagement (AD-COE) Midwest will be responsible for deeply engaging the unique catchment area surrounding the Upper-Midwest.
•Arizona based in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ: In this framework, the AD-COE in Arizona will be responsible for deeply engaging the unique catchment of Maricopa County.

These AD-COE roles are critical leaders for the MCCCC. The NCI recognizes the MCCCC as an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with three locations in Arizona, Florida, and the Midwest. The MCCCC will remain a fully integrated cancer single center across three U.S. sites and each site will collaborate across the enterprise to achieve a transformational strategy that builds on unique strengths and opportunities at each site. In this framework, the ADs-COE in Arizona and the Midwest will be responsible for deeply engaging their unique catchment areas.

The AD-COEs will be Mayo Cancer Center Career Scientists, meaning their position will be fully funded by the cancer center, akin to an endowed chair role.

The executive search firm Spencer Stuart has been retained to assist in this recruitment. Mark Furman, MD, Flip Jaeger and Shannon Yeatman of Spencer Stuart are the lead consultants on the search.
