ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (WITH TENURE) OF POPULATION HEALTH SCIENCES - CANCER EPIDEMIOLOGIST

The Department of Population Health Sciences in the University of Wisconsin (UW) School of Medicine and Public Health, in collaboration with the UW Carbone Cancer Center, invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor position (tenure track) in the area of cancer epidemiology. Individuals with research programs in survivorship, community-engaged research, the exposome including social determinants of health, and/or novel epidemiologic methods applied to cancer are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have their tenure home in Population Health Sciences, with expected membership in the Carbone Cancer Center, Wisconsin’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. Depending on the selected candidate’s expertise and interests, affiliations with other departments, centers, and institutes across campus are possible, including the Collaborative Center for Health Equity, Data Science Institute, Center for Human Genomics and Precision Medicine, Population Health Institute, the Center for the Demography of Health and Aging, and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.
