Job Information/Description:
Seeking a talented and highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on research aimed at reducing the burden of breast cancer, particularly for racial/ethnic minorities, through precision prevention approaches. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the direct supervision of Dr. Anne Marie McCarthy, a cancer epidemiologist at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Informatics. Projects will cover topic areas including breast cancer risk prediction, integration of genetics into breast cancer prevention, evaluation of novel imaging biomarkers of breast cancer risk, personalized screening, and racial disparities in breast cancer. Flexible start date.
Additional Information:
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in epidemiology, biostatistics or a related field. Knowledge and experience with cancer and/or genetic epidemiology research, strong publication record, excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
