Yale University, Office of Research Affairs, Yale Cancer Center (YCC), is seeking a public health scientist/scientific coordinator for a research faculty appointment. Responsibilities will include a) participation as a key member of a research team in several public health-oriented, funded, cancer epidemiology research projects and b) serving as a project manager working with Office of Research Affairs staff and Cancer Center Leadership to advance multiple cancer center research program and infrastructure initiatives. This multi-faceted role requires a PhD with experience in statistical analysis (e.g. SAS, Stata, SPSS, R), experience in the writing and preparation of scientific papers and grants, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple research and organizational projects, and the ability to interact independently with YCC faculty to accomplish Center goals.
