Post-doc in Breast Cancer Epidemiology, Channing Division of Network Medicine and Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University, Boston, MAPosting Date: 01/23/2019
We have a post-doctoral position available to work in the area of breast cancer epidemiology. The position would be based at the Channing Division of Network Medicine and Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and involve working primarily with the Nurses’ Health Study and Nurses’ Health Study II cohorts. A number of interesting and diverse projects are ongoing or recently funded. Projects include the assessment of lifestyle factors, mammographic density and imaging features, multiple plasma and genetic markers, as well as tissue markers in relation to breast cancer risk and survival. Several of these projects also involve integrating exposure information with high dimensional ‘omics data including GWAS, gene expression profiling, and metabolomics. Substantial experience would be gained in the conduct of cohort and nested case-control analyses, manuscript writing, as well as in project management and grant writing. Fellows would work primarily with Drs. Rulla Tamimi and Heather Eliassen.
