The Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, in partnership with the Departments of Medicine, Pathology, Healthcare Policy & Research, and Center for Health Equity, invites applications for tenure track faculty positions. We are seeking highly motivated, experienced researchers with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence in population science research. Individuals with expertise in cancer epidemiology, cancer prevention, control & disparities are encouraged to apply. The Meyer Cancer Center will have a strong focus on Brooklyn, a borough of 2.7 million residents that is home to significant cancer disparities that need to be overcome. Investigators are supported by clinical research infrastructure, data and resource management systems and a series of state-of-the-art core facilities. 

The university-wide Cornell Center for Health Equity has developed a community-based infrastructure for the conduct of population science projects. The Center has established a network of community partnerships that represents a foundation for the conduct of community-engaged research to achieve equity in cancer prevention and control for the people of Brooklyn and beyond.

Appointments at the Assistant, Associate, and full Professor levels for qualified candidates with an advanced degree (MD, PhD, MD/PhD) are preferred. NCI R01-funded investigators are preferred. Successful candidates will be expected to lead independent research programs with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaborations, peer-reviewed funding, and high-impact science.
