The Houston Methodist Cancer Center is currently accepting applications for a top scholar and leader in the area of Obesity and Cancer, with potential additional expertise in Nutrition and/or Microbiome. Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degree with established expertise in a targeted field of research, a track record of sustained and ongoing nationally funded research program, and an outstanding record of collaborative cancer research-related activities. The Houston Methodist Cancer Center is currently strengthening our basic science and cancer prevention and control research programs. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish the Obesity and Cancer program in the area of research that best suits their interests and is expected to maintain a vigorous externally funded research program.

Primary appointment will be in the Houston Methodist Research Institute, with a potential appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College upon additional approval.
