The University of Chicago’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will provide evidence-based and best practice clinical services to patients with cancer, engage in program development and participate in clinical activities as part of a multidisciplinary team at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. The appointee will support clinics in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neuroscience in collaboration with Hematology/Oncology. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicants who have completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Psycho-oncology or have experience working in an evidence-based practice for cancer patients. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent on qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited university-based doctoral program, 2) hold or be eligible for an Illinois license in Clinical Psychology, and 3) have completed an internship at an APA-accredited site.
