The UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) is a matrix, NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with 300 to 350 UW faculty members from 40+ departments and 10+ UW schools. The UWCCC is the connecting “hub” of all cancer-related clinical care and research throughout UW Health and UW Madison. The scope of the UWCCC includes 30,000+ cancer patients, 1,000+ support staff and faculty-directed research with funding at approximately $100 million per year.

The Assistant Director is responsible for coordinating all aspects of UWCCC Population Science and Outreach. This Assistant Director of Population Science and Outreach reports to the Associate Director of Population Science and works with leaders of the Population Science units in performing the duties of the position. The Assistant Director plans and coordinates activities to maximize the strategic position of the division.
