The Zhu Family Center for Global Cancer Prevention at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is seeking applications for up to two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. These will be dry lab positions, and rank will be contingent on experience.

The incumbent(s) will have an opportunity to build a robust research program in cancer prevention and early detection. Candidates with the skills to develop, implement, disseminate, and evaluate tools and technologies that address the cancer burden in populations, particularly within underserved populations are encouraged to apply, and we welcome applications from researchers interested in disparities, social determinants of health, and/or structural racism, whether as a primary or supplemental focus. Successful candidates will be expected to teach cancer prevention courses at the graduate level.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to cancer prevention and early detection in a dry-lab setting, such as epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, economics and health services research, behavioral science, community-based interventions, or genetics, -omics, population health, among others. Competitive candidates will have an established publication record.
Successful candidates can be appointed to any department within the Harvard Chan School and will benefit from membership in the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer center, which is comprised of over 1,100 members in 18 research programs in 7 affiliate institutions. All departments at the School have formal mentoring programs and develop tailored mentorship plans to ensure the tenure-track faculty members receive the guidance and support needed to successfully navigate the School’s academic and funding environment.
