Job Description Summary:
The Department of Population Health seeks candidates of exceptional potential and emerging scholarship to enhance our research and educational portfolio. Multiple hires are expected for 12-mos, full time tenure-track positions for first time or late Assistant Professor. Mid-career investigators may also be considered.

Located in the School of Medicine, the Department provides a robust, interdisciplinary environment for conducting research and teaching in an academic medical center setting. With faculty on three campuses – Kansas City, Wichita, Salina – we are the academic home for graduate educational programs leading to the MHSA, MPH, MSCR, and PhD.
Competitive candidates will have a demonstrable research focus in a population health domain, such as behavioral and social science interventions, healthcare delivery research, implementation science, outcomes and health services research, including policy analysis, economics and/or finance. In addition to a strong record of partnership with state and regional health authorities, the Department has access to exceptional campus resources to support diverse community engagement and recruitment, quantitative analytics and health informatics, with multiple opportunities for collaboration across clinical areas, the KU School of Health Professions, and the School of Nursing.
