The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor position in the tenure track and clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research. The Division of Epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, together with the Abramson Cancer Center, seek highly qualified candidates with expertise in cancer epidemiology. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, molecular epidemiology; cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship; patient-centered outcomes research; social epidemiology; pharmacoepidemiology; and health and behavior communication.
The successful candidate will have experience conducting research as a principle investigator (Tenure track) or co-investigator (Clinician Educator track) in adult or pediatric cancers, teaching, and publishing peer reviewed manuscripts. The primary faculty appointment will be in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, or other School of Medicine departments, as appropriate.
