Zilveren tondeldoosje, W. de Pleyt, Schoonhoven, ca. 1870 biedermeier vorken Gewicht: 41Silver tinderbox or matchbox, probably made by silversmith W. de Pleyt from Schoonhoven. He worked from 1851 to 1878. The box is hallmarked with the sword for second grade silver and a half decayed maker's mark. Since the first two letters are visible, we attribute the box to W. de Pleyt with the maker's mark WP95. The box is decorated with curly motifs in the Biedermeier style. The bottom of the box has a cross motif so that the matches could be lit
