Friese zilveren brandewijnkom, ca. 1780 Biedermeier lepel Silver tobacco box made byFrisian brandy bowl featuring scroll and leaf motifs surrounding a flower basket. The bowl has two handles with putti on either side of a child's head. The bowl is beautifully hand driven and both handles feature key strokes. The bowl wasn't hallmarked, which was common practice at the time. This way, people didn't have to pay taxes on the work sold.
