He worked from the Tuinstraat. Matthijs Woortman was a 'schepwerker', specializing in making forged cutlery. The spoons are hallmarked with the first quality mark (934 1000), Amsterdam city mark, year letter M for 1795 and the maker's mark 'duck'. The spoons are solidly made and in good condition. Weight: 139. 7 grams. Length: 21 cm.
