Zilveren visschep, J.H. Schouten, Amsterdam, 1849 Eikels gemaakt door de zilversmid AbrahamSilver fish slice with bone handle made by silversmith Jacobus Hendrik Schouten from Amsterdam. He was active from 1846 to 1869. The fish slice is beautifully openwork with scroll motifs in the Biedermeier style. The slice is hallmarked with the second fineness mark, Minerva head, year letter P for 1849, and the master's mark JHS under a hammer. The slice is in beautiful condition. Weight: 72 grams.
