1915 Print Surge Tank Man Coquitlam Buntzen Development British Columbia XGPC8 TIN2 New York 13This is an original 1915 duotone halftone print of a surge tank from the Coquitlam Buntzen Development in British Columbia, Canada. The Coquitlam Dam is a hydraulic fill embankment dam on the Coquitlam River and was used to raise the water level of Coquitlam Lake and to protect the water supply. It started to leak beyond repair meaning a new dam was built. At the time of completion the new dam was the longest power diversion tunnel in the world.
