This is an original 1964 color print ad for the Midland Bank of England and Wales which features two birds: the Bee eater; and the Rosy Starling or Rose Colored Starling or Pastor. In the 1960's the Bank ran an ad campaign series, the "Rarities of Wild Life," with paintings of artist John Leigh Pemberton. The Bank is now part of HSBC Holdings.
