This is an original 1893 halftone print of the California State Building at the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. It was built in the style of an old Catholic mission by architect, P. Brown of San Francisco. The building cost $100,000. (Please note that, typical of halftone prints, there is printing on the reverse.)
