It is said that the Buhlerhohe never actually served as a sanatorium, but rather just a lodging hotel. The resort was erected around 1912, near Black Forest. The original building was designed by architect Wilhelm Kreis. Although under different ownership, the prestigious hotel continues to operate today with great success.
