1937 King David Bathsheba Sculptures Chartres Cathedral - ORIGINAL CH2 AAG1 which is presently known asThis is an original 1937 photogravure of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres (Cathdrale Notre Dame de Chartres) in France (Rpublique Francaise). Seen in the photogravure are the statues of David and Bathsheba located on the north transept. The cathedral has survived several wars, and although the lead roof was taken off to make bullets, the architecture has only seen minor changes. The stained glass windows are mostly original. The building is
