At the left, in the hillside, is a secret entrance where thousands of German troops hid. Their tactic failed, however, when the 27th and 30th American Divisions broke through the Hindenburg Line and the troops poured out of the rear. The enemy was then over taken by American tanks. CONDITION This 91+ year old Item is rated Near Mint Very Fine. Light foxing and
